Powered by the latest Strad Neo Hybrid Modelling Engine, Neo DoubleBass delivers a new level of expression and realism for virtual double bass performance. Its advanced hybrid modelling technology condenses the sound data into an ultra-efficient 86MB package while achieving the authentic depth and detail sound typically found in a 9GB sample library. Modelled vibrato, legato, and string behavior provide exceptional playability and responsiveness, creating a natural, smooth, and vivid performance experience without sacrificing realism.
MIDI 2.0 High-Resolution Expression
For the first time in our string instrument series, Neo DoubleBass introduces full MIDI 2.0 support, enabling high-resolution controller data for dramatically smoother and more expressive performances.
Hybrid Modelling Legato
A standout feature of Neo DoubleBass is its Hybrid Modelling Legato system, designed to deliver fluid, flexible, and highly authentic legato transitions for realistic melodic playing.
Fully Modelled Vibrato
Neo DoubleBass also features fully modelled vibrato with real-time control over vibrato depth and speed. The vibrato can smoothly fade in and out from normal sustain, offering a more organic and expressive character compared to traditional sampled vibrato.
